Steamboat Springs — 12:48 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue where two people reportedly refused to leave a bar. The people were gone when officers arrived.
12:58 a.m. Police were called to a report of a drunken driver in the 200 block of Locust Court and arrested a 22-year-old Texas man on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving with an open container and unsafe backing. The man reportedly had driven off the road and hit a fence, but there were no injuries. At the same place but in a separate incident, police issued a person a citation for a minor in possession of alcohol.
9:12 a.m. Police received a report of a fraud in Steamboat. A person reported that a stolen credit card was used to make an online purchase. No value of the theft was available.
1:37 p.m. Police were called to the base of Steamboat Ski Area for a report of a theft of a ski pass. A person reportedly bought a used ski pass from another person in the parking lot and was caught trying to use it. Officers issued a ticket for theft.
3:20 p.m. Police were called to a report of a one-car rollover in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. There were no injuries.
5:13 p.m. Deputies and Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 800 block of West Jefferson Avenue in Hayden.
5:19 p.m. Police were called to a report of a drunken driver at Yampa Valley Medical Center. Officers arrested a 63-year-old Arizona man on suspicion of harassment and driving under the influence.
5:29 p.m. Police were called to a report of a cold two-car, noninjury crash at Lincoln Avenue and Hilltop Parkway.
6:55 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Mount Werner Road and Mount Werner Circle. Officers issued a ticket.
7:03 p.m. Police were called to a report of a car off the road in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. There were no injuries.
7:34 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car crash on Routt County Road 36, a quarter mile from the Strawberry Park Hot Springs.
8:50 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 100 block of Spruce Street where a man walked out of his home and saw three people trying to break into his car. He yelled at the three people, and they ran away. As they fled the area, they reportedly dropped an ammunition box. Police have no suspects, and nothing was reported stolen from that car or other cars that night.
10:25 p.m. Police were called to a request for a welfare check in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue where a man, set to be married the next day, reportedly became intoxicated and ran away. Officers were unable to find the person who called in the request or the groom-to-be.
