Police, fire and ambulance calls

3:28 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 13100 block of U.S. Highway 40.

6:52 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to check on a person at Little Toots Park.



7:10 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 500 block of Wyatt Drive. A person was having mental health problems.

9:07 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident in the 1900 block of Bridge Lane.



11:04 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a multicar accident in the 600 block of South Lincoln Avenue. No one needed medical treatment.

12:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person being harassed on Whistler Road.

12:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

1:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1600 block of Natches Way.

2:05 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell off a horse.

3:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a backpack found in the Yampa River.

3:55 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a man who was yelling at people in the 39600 block of Amethyst Drive.

6:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 2300 block of Val D’Isere Circle. The bear had knocked a screen off and was halfway through a window. Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers set a trap.

6:59 p.m. Officers stopped a person in the 100 block of 11th Street and warned the person about having an open container of alcohol.

7:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car blasting music in the first block of Cedar Court.

7:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident in the 900 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

8 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a band practicing and being loud in the 400 block of Blue Sage Circle. A verbal warning was given.

8:05 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who was sick in the first block of Anglers Drive.

8:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver on Anglers Drive. The driver could not be found.

10:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an illegal burn on the Yampa River Core Trail. Officers found an unattended scrap pile on fire.
