12:02 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a burglary alarm in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. The alarm was set off by employee error.
12:45 a.m. Police arrested a 21-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving with an open container of alcohol, having no proof of insurance and weaving after a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 40 and Hilltop Parkway.
12:55 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a 25-year-old Oak Creek man on suspicion of prohibited use of a weapon, driving under revocation, DUI and failure to use a turn signal after a traffic stop at Colorado Highway 131 and Routt County Road 15.
1:09 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a barking dog at Manitou Avenue and Pitkin Street. Nobody answered the door at the house, so police left a notice on the door.
1:11 a.m. Police talked to a person at Fifth and Oak streets who reportedly was carrying a street sign, possibly a construction sign. Officers gave the person a warning.
2:32 a.m. Police were called to a request for an officer in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. A man reportedly called 911 and said he had witnessed a murder. The man said he was highly intoxicated and did not trust the dispatcher, and he hung up the phone. Officers did not make contact with the man.
3:19 a.m. Police were called to a report of a drunken driver at Central Park Drive and Mount Werner Road. Officers gave the driver a written warning.
7:24 a.m. Police were called to a request for an officer in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue where a person reported that they were getting harassing phone calls from the jail. Police turned the case over to jail deputies.
9:40 a.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about cattle on the road near the first mile of C.R. 14. The owner showed up to put the cattle away.
11:02 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a barking dog at Manitou Avenue and Gilpin Street.
11:43 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of people trespassing in the 13000 block of U.S. 40 near Hayden. Officers issued the people a citation.
11:45 a.m. Police were again called to a complaint about a dog loose at Manitou Avenue and Gilpin Street. Police took a small terrier to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.
1:35 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about a dog loose in the 29000 block of Rock Point Trail near Oak Creek.
1:49 p.m. Police were called to a request for an officer in the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue where two people reportedly were throwing rocks from the hillside down onto the road. The people were gone when officers arrived.
3:06 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 500 block of Ore House Plaza. Officers determined the report was unfounded.
3:07 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bank alarm in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.
3:23 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person driving slowly and weaving near mile marker 28 on Colo. 131. Deputies could not find the car.
4:24 p.m. Police were called to a report of theft on Whistler Road where a video game console reportedly was stolen. Officers have a suspect and are investigating.
5:10 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers and West Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a request for help in the 600 block of Maple Street in Hayden.
8:16 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District emergency responders and Oak Creek Police Department officers were called to a report of a possible chimney fire in the 100 block of East Virginia Street. The chimney was not on fire but was backed up and had caused some smoke to go into the house. Everything was fine.
11:44 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. Officers gave a person a summons for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
