Suspicious knocker, roommate dispute: The Record for Friday, Sept. 29, 2017

12:02 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of someone calling about loud music playing in the1400 Block of Morgan Court. Officers gave a warning and the music was turned off.

12:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who said a red light was continuously blinking for 45 minutes south of Steamboat near Colorado Highway 131, no action was taken by the officers.

1:27 a.m. Officers were called to a report of three bears digging through a dumpster in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road. The bears were gone when the officers arrived.

12:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a roommate dispute when one roommate needed to get some belongings in the 20 block of Spruce Street. Officers conducted a civil standby.

4:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who witnessed a vehicle swerving near Dream Island Plaza. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

8 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dispute between an employee and a customer who got into a verbal argument in the 700 Block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a homeowner who received odd knocking on the front door two times in a row, but found no one was there either time in the 300 block of Apple Drive. Officers were unable to locate the suspicious knocker.
