Suspicious antler-buying activity downtown: The Record for Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017

12:20 p.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers and Steamboat Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a single-vehicle car crash at Amethyst Drive and Routt County Road 36. There were minor injuries from the crash.
4:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1200 block of Mountain Village Circle. A roommate reportedly was causing a scene. Police tried to mediate an argument. Officers were called back a few hours later after one of the roommates damaged some property in the apartment. The person was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief.
9:16 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver at 12th Street and The Boulevard. Police were unable to find the driver.
10:32 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a former employee making phone calls that were considered to be harassing to a senior living center in the 2800 block of Owl Hoot Trail.
12:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of some people who appeared to be selling and buying antlers in a parking lot in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

1:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dispute between two roommates over rent in the 2900 block of Alpenglow Way.
2:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible break-in at an apartment in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road. The maintenance worker at the apartment called back to determine some damage to a window was caused by a design flaw in the window, not someone breaking in.
11:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an intoxicated man who said he had been assaulted by three men in the 100 block of Mountain Village Circle. The three men who were the alleged assailants told police the person who said he was assaulted had stolen something from a party.
