Supplemental Budget Appropriation Ordinance

NOTICE IS HEREBY, GIVEN that the Steamboat Springs City Council on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, adopted the following ordinances on first reading:
An ordinance approving a loan from the Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority; authorizing the form and execution of the loan agreement and a governmental agency bond to evidence such loan; authorizing the execution and delivery of documents related thereto; and prescribing other details in connection therewith.
Fourth 2011 Supplemental Budget Appropriation Ordinance. Supplemental Revenue totaling $493,538 as follows: Ice Arena Other Outside Services – $22,500; Airport Fund via CDOT grant – $396,053; General Fund via Carbon Fund grant – $15,599; Capital Projects Fund via State Historical Fund grant – $45,386; Capital Projects Fund via Museum/Heritage Advisory Board grant – $10,000; and Capital Projects Fund via National Trust for Historic Preservation grant booked in 2010 and carried over – $4,000. Supplemental Appropriation Expenditures totaling $493,538 as follows: General Fund transfer to Ice Arena Fund – $22,500; Airport Fund for land acquisition – $396,053; General Fund for solar hot water system – $15,599; and Capital Projects Fund for Mesa Schoolhouse windows – $59,386.
An ordinance amending Chapter 6, Section 6-2 of the Steamboat Springs Revised Municipal Code; establishing new boundaries for the City Council Districts; repealing all conflicting ordinances; providing for severability; and providing an effective date.
An ordinance amending Chapters 20 and 26 of the Steamboat Springs Revised Municipal Code to include requirements for Complete Streets, providing an effective date, and repealing all conflicting ordinances.
The above ordinances are scheduled for Second Reading/Public Hearing at the Steamboat Springs City Council Regular Meeting on May 17, 2011 beginning at 5:00 p.m., in Citizens’ Meeting Room, Centennial Hall, 124 10th Street, Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Complete copies of these ordinances are available and can be obtained from the Office of the City Clerk at 137 10th Street, Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and may be inspected at any time during normal business hours.
