Steamboat Springs — A 39-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of misdemeanor indecent exposure.
According to an affidavit filed with the Routt County Court, Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to investigate an incident at West Lincoln Park in the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers spoke to a juvenile girl who told them a man was playing with himself and showed his genitals to her. The girl later identified the man as Christopher Michael Gray, who police found at the park in a stall in the women's bathroom, the affidavit states. Police said Gray told them he was using the women's bathroom because he could not find the men's room.
"Two other female juveniles … had used the women's bathroom to change and while doing so they heard a man in a stall comment about how they were funny," the affidavit states. "The girls quickly left the bathroom."
Gray appeared in court Thursday, and his bond was set at $1,500.
