Steamboat briefs: Seasonal closure for part of Routt County Road 80A

The Routt County Road and Bridge Department has enacted a seasonal closure of Routt County Road 80A for about three miles from C.R. 80 to C.R. 74 as well as C.R. 80 from the gate at the south U.S. Forest Service boundary to the gate at the north Forest Service boundary to all vehicle traffic other than emergency and law enforcement vehicles for no more than 90 days, according to a news release. C.R. 18 also will be closed from the cattle guard below Stagecoach Reservoir to the gate at Pleasant Valley because of spring runoff. Nonprofit requests for event proceeds are due Monday

CNCC offers body sculpting class Mondays, Wednesdays

Colorado Northwestern Community College is offering a body sculpting class with card, strength and stretch workouts from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays from April 16 to June 11 at the Haven Community Center. Strawberry Park Elementary Book Fair Luau starts Thursday

The Strawberry Park Elementary School Book Fair Luau is from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. through April 19. The event includes an art show from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the school. Bring a picnic dinner and participate in contests, crafts, dance and more.
