Steamboat briefs: Foundation to match contributions to Yampa Valley Partners

Pilot & Today staff

— Yampa Valley Partners has announced a challenge grant opportunity provided by the Anschutz Family Foundation. The foundation will match contributions made to Yampa Valley Partners from regional businesses and individuals to a total of $5,000.

The Anschutz Family Foundation states that its challenge grants are issued to “generate momentum and to provide an incentive for new donors, spur an organization towards creative and diligent fundraising, provide both an impact on the organization’s financial picture in the short term and to provide long-term ripple effects from a broadened donor base and increased community support.”

A successful effort to meet this challenge will assist Yampa Valley Partners in ongoing efforts to provide economic, environmental, social and civic information to the region in the form of the Community Indicators Report, Fast Facts and the recently implemented economic forecast newsletter.

For more information or to make a tax-deductible contribution, call Kate Nowak at 970-824-1133 or 970-819-0570, or e-mail kate@yampavalleypartners.com, P.O. Box 1641, Craig, CO 81626.
