Soroco volleyball’s struggles continue on the road at Beth Eden

— A rough start to the season didn't get any better Friday night for the Soroco High School volleyball team, which fell in three games on a road trip against Beth Eden Baptist. The Rams lost, 26-24, 25-18 and 25-16.

"They need to play with confidence," coach Jeannie Jo Logan said. "They get out there, and if they make a mistake, they just get down on themselves and stop playing with confidence. All the girls have the ability to play and the foundation to play. It's just about continuing to push it forward with confidence.

"Once that starts coming in, they'll start playing better and better."

The team won't have long to dwell on that message. They're back at it Saturday with a road trip to play at Plateau Valley.
