Soroco football gets easy win, beating Justice, 45-8

— Playing what coach David Bruner called the best game of the year, the Soroco High School football team easily beat Justice on Friday, 45-8.

The Rams, now 4-1 overall, jetted out to a 42-0 lead at halftime and were able to play their junior varsity in the second half.

Quarterback Nic Paxton led the way with four touchdown runs and 102 rushing yards on seven carries.

Ian Palyo added a rushing touchdown, and Matt Regan had a 50-yard interception return for a touchdown to highlight a dominant Rams day. AJ Anderson also kicked a 40-yard field goal.

Soroco rolled up 297 yards rushing and passed the ball only seven times.

"That's the least we've thrown it since I've been here," coach David Bruner said. "The line did a good job, and we were able to run it."
