7:43 a.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a dog running around the Steamboat Springs Airport property.
Officers were called to a suspicious incident at a grocery store in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A vehicle had been left running for three hours. Police determined the vehicle's owner had a warrant for their arrest, and the person was taken into custody.
3:03 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a runaway in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. The suspected runaway was located with family members and was fine.
8:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of prescription medications stolen from a car overnight at a motel in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. Surveillance video was reviewed, and no one was seen going into he car.
12:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of missing money from a room at a hotel that is being used for long-term housing in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
6:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone illegally dumping trash in a dumpster in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
8:27 a.m. Officers were called to a report of criminal mischief. Toilet paper had been thrown around the inside of the building.
10:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver who was "acting crazy" in the parking lot of Dream Island Plaza. The driver was gone when officers arrived.
5:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an animal complaint near Central Park Plaza. Someone wanted officers to check on the dog of a transient person to see if it was in good health. Officers said it was.
2:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight involving a transient man in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
9:11 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a three-car crash at Elk River Road and Lincoln Avenue. The driver suspected of causing the crash was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The driver and another driver were treated for injuries.
11:42 a.m. Officers were called to a report of male genitalia drawn in the dirt on a person’s car window in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. The person who reported it had the same thing happen previously.
10:03 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of people squatting near a condo complex in the first block of Sixth Street. No one was located, but there were cigarette butts and empty bottles and cans.
9:33 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. A person found an anti-coal flier on their car. The person thought it was put there because they had a pro-coal bumper sticker on their car.
2:15 a.m. Officers were flagged down by someone who found some suspicious pills in the first block of Anglers Drive. Police took the pills to the police station as evidence.
