7:36 p.m. Officers were called to help a woman in the 1400 block of Anglers Drive. The woman was in her car, and moose were in her driveway. The woman honked the horn, but the moose would not leave. Police shot the moose with bean bags and scared them away.

2:14 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken person outside a bar in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. The person ran away when police arrived.

The Record for Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016

12:09 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a man “acting a fool” at a bar in the 700 block of Yampa Street. When the man was asked to leave, he kicked the door and left. Police contacted the man and gave him a warning.

1:47 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to check on a drunken person at the Seventh Street bus stop. The person could not be located.

2:09 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted an intoxicated woman at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. A sober friend came and got her.

3:04 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunk person at a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.

10:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a couple arguing at a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. They were separated for the night at different hotel rooms, but their cat was not allowed to stay. Police kept the cat at the police station for the night.

5:02 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1800 block of Central Park Plaza. A tow truck driver was reportedly trying to tow a car with a man sleeping inside.

12:41 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of people throwing ice at cars at the Anglers Drive bus stop. They were contacted and given a warning.

2:35 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of loud music and people in the 2700 block of Village Drive. A warning was given.

The Record for Monday, Jan. 3, 2016

4:23 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a duffel bag full of clothes that was found in the middle of the street near the Old Town Hot Springs. Police took the bag in for safekeeping.

10:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an intoxicated man who was sleeping in the lobby of a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. Police helped the man get to his room at the hotel.

12:44 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle at the Strawberry Park Hot Springs.

The Record for Friday, Jan. 1, 2016

12:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight outside a bar at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. A person driving by saw five or six people, and one person threw a punch. The fight could not be located.
