6:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a patient who was possibly drunken and going to drive from Yampa Valley Medical Center. The patient was located, but officers did not believe he had been drinking. The patient was upset and wanted to go to the hospital in Craig.

12:18 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who fired a shotgun in the air outside a residence in the 2000 block of Montview Lane. The person who called police anonymously said the person fired the shotgun to get them to “cease and desist.” Police investigated the area and did not find anything suspicious or out of the ordinary.

12:42 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an assault at a bar in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man claimed he was punched and forced out of the business by the doorman, but when officers arrived, he didn't want to be cooperative with an investigation.

7:55 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person who found a bloody glove in the 2800 block of Abbey Road. It was believed an animal had dragged the glove from somewhere. It was not clear what the red substance was.

3:36 a.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 25600 block of C.R. 15.

4:34 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a person who wanted to know if it was legal for their neighbor to have a cannon in their yard at Catamount.

5:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help person who was sick in the 2800 block of Owl Hoot Trail.

2:38 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of someone screaming east of the police station. Nothing suspicious was located.

The Record for Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014

2:10 a.m. Officers found an intoxicated man attempting to urinate in the doorway of a business in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers told the man to stop and warned him not to urinate in public. He walked away, and officers continued to watch the man. The man then started yelling at some people, so police took him to detox.

12:17 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunk man near Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. He was taken to detox.

11:06 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an upset customer causing a disturbance in the 1700 block of Central Park Drive.

The Record for Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014

6:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary in the 2700 block of Eagleridge Drive. A woman was walking her dog and noticed feet sticking out of her car. The woman found a man passed out in her car. The man apologized to the woman and he walked away with a handful of change. About $10 was missing, and the man could not be located.

5:23 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 13800 block of C.R. 29.

7:38 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a daughter who wanted her mother checked on in the 2700 block of Longthong Road.
