7:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of criminal mischief in the 1000 block of Merritt Street. Pumpkin smashing was occurring in the neighborhood. Two juveniles were spoken to, and the situation was handled civilly along with their parents.

11:56 a.m. Officers were called to a report of cosmetics and hygiene products stolen at a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

10:17 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man driving recklessly at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. The driver was taking his seat belt on and off and was sticking his head out the window. The 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under restraint and driving without proof of insurance.

8:16 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person packing a pipe with marijuana while driving at Lincoln Avenue and Dream Island Plaza. The driver was contacted and cited for possessing marijuana as a minor.

12:49 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of pumpkins smashed in the 400 block of Parkview Drive. A person saw two males running away. Police contacted one of them, and the 20-year-old man was given a ticket for criminal mischief.

Steamboat Springs Police Department officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a truck that was leaking diesel fuel on Lithia Springs Road.

1:13 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to Yampa Valley Medical Center, where a woman had come in saying she believed someone slipped a narcotic into her drink while she was at a bar earlier in the night. The incident is still under investigation.

11:50 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two $80 trash cans stolen in the 3200 block of Snowflake Court.

11:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident on River Road. There was a car full of teenagers, and one of the teens was seen jumping out of the car and running away. The teen could not be located.
