NOTICE IS HEREBY, GIVEN that the Steamboat Springs City Council on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, adopted the following ordinances on first reading:
An ordinance approving a lease between the City of Steamboat Springs and Smartwool, LLC and authorizing the City Council President to sign lease documents; repealing all conflicting ordinances; providing for severability; and providing an effective date.
An ordinance for the purpose of submitting to a vote of the electors of the City of Steamboat Springs, Colorado the question of whether the City should be allowed to increase the Sales Tax by .25% from 4.5% to 4.75% for a period of five years and dedicating the revenues from said tax to the Steamboat Springs Local Marketing District to support commercial air-service to Yampa Valley Regional Airport in Hayden; and establishing an effective date and an expiration date.

An ordinance amending Community Development Code Sec. 26-84 (D) (1) “Historic Preservation Commission” to allow out of City residents residing within Routt County the ability to apply for and serve on the Historic Preservation Commission in accordance with ordinance 2190 of the Revised Municipal Code.
The above ordinances are scheduled for Second Reading/Public Hearing at the Steamboat Springs City Council Regular Meeting on August 2, 2011 beginning at 5:00 p.m., in Citizens’ Meeting Room, Centennial Hall, 124 10th Street, Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
