General Description: A text amendment to eliminate the 10 Percent Rule: No lot shall be further subdivided where the subdivision will result in any lot that is more than ten (10) percent smaller than the average size of the lots within the subdivision, or the average size of all lots located partially or entirely within three hundred (300) feet, whichever is more restrictive. Whereas all zone districts in the city have minimum lot size and many of the lots that are susceptible to this regulation are restricted to subdivide by private covenants and site constraints, the regulation is unnecessarily restrictive.
