Obituary: Jacquelyn (Jackie) Raye Stonebrink

Jacquelyn (Jackie) Raye Stonebrink, 71, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children on November 12, 2017 at her home in Loveland, Colorado.

Jackie was born on August 3, 1946 in Onawa, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas E. Lindley and Ruth Marie (VanFleet) Hardenbrook.

Jackie grew up in Steamboat Springs, CO and graduated from Steamboat Springs High School. She married Darrell E. Stonebrink and moved to Loveland where they had three children. She worked for Hewlett Packard for more than two decades and continued her education at Aims Community College. She left HP in 1992 to care for her grandchildren.

Jackie was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She had a passion for reading, which led to a second career at City News in Loveland. Jackie enjoyed travelling to Las Vegas to play the slots and attend NASCAR races. She also loved the Hawaiian Islands and travelling there with friends and family.

Jackie is survived by her stepmother Patty Lindley; son Don (Terry) Stonebrink; two daughters Karen (Joe Marquez) Stonebrink and Becky (Vince) Collet; sisters Judy Winograsky, Cheryl Infanger, and Patty (Matt Henehan) Lindley; Brothers Don (Gale) Lindley and Tom (Sandra) Lindley; grandchildren Kyley Barela, Bradley Collet, Spencer Collet, Emma Collet and Allison Collet. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Thomas E. Lindley, Ruth M. and Clinton K. Hardenbrook; grandson, Jordan Barela.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, November 24, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S. Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525. A reception will follow at the Resthaven Reception Center. Memorial contributions can be made to Meals On Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud or to Shadow Company Veterans Assisting Veterans.
