Betty Elizabeth Nason

Betty Elizabeth Nason, a former resident of the Doak Walker Care Center, passed away June 2, 2013, in Steamboat Springs.
She was born July 30, 1921, in Durand, Mich.
Betty enjoyed sewing and crafts. She lived in Winnemucca, Nev., for several years and moved to Oak Creek in 2007. She enjoyed mountain drives and always said how beautiful it is.
She will be missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Nason; daughters Bonnie Johnson and Pauline Browning; two sisters; and five brothers.
She is survived by daughters Beverly and Bob Waller, of Michigan, Cheryl and Tim Carl, of Oak Creek, and Judy Nason, of Oak Creek; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
She will be buried at Valley Center Cemetery in Valley Center, Mich.
