Susan V. Krahenbuhl

Susan V. Krahenbuhl, 51, of Steamboat Springs and Las Vegas, died March 23, 2012, at her home in Las Vegas.
Born Nov. 26, 1960, in Schenectady, N.Y., the daughter of Garin and Carol (Fountain) VanDeMark, she married Douglas R. Krahenbuhl on Dec. 18, 1982, in Fort Collins. They lived in DeKalb, Ill., for several years.
She was a registered nurse. She loved skiing and taking hikes in the mountains, fishing, traveling and spending time at sporting events and time with family.
She is survived by her husband, Doug Krahenbuhl; three children, Dan Krahenbuhl of Tempe, Ariz., Kelly (Kurt) McGinnis of Las Vegas and Cole Krahenbuhl, of Tempe; father, Garin VanDeMark, of Fort Collins; and sister, Nancy VanDeMark (Walter Lamendeola), of Wheat Ridge.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol VanDeMark.
A funeral service was held March 30, 2012, at Calvary Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Craig Nelson officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery.
