Oak Creek Town Board to meet at 7 p.m. Thursday

The Oak Creek Town Board meets at 7 p.m. Thursday for its semimonthly meeting at Oak Creek Town Hall, 129 Nancy Crawford Blvd.

On the agenda:

■ A liquor license application for 200 Sharp St., the old home of Black Mountain Tavern. Former Town Board member Lawrence Jaconetta applied for the license.

■ A revision to the new water tank project schedule, which would halt work through the winter.

■ A discussion about the public works department possibly adding push-to-talk capabilities to cellphones.

■ South Routt Community Center Board representative appointments

■ A discussion of a land-use code provision regarding mobile homes. The current land-use code states that mobile-home owners outside of designated mobile home parks can upgrade only to fixed-foundation homes and not another trailer. After receiving a letter from a citizen expressing a concern about the code, the board agreed to revisit the issue.
