Oak Creek Town Board meeting Thursday
September 8, 2011
Steamboat Springs — The Oak Creek Town Board will hold its regular biweekly meeting Thursday with a relatively light agenda.
At 5:30 p.m., the board will host a work session with the Department of Local Affairs' Greg Winkler regarding town employee job descriptions and staff evaluations.
The regular meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, will start off with a liquor license hearing for Bonfiglio Drug followed by a license transfer request involving two Northwest Colorado medical marijuana businesses.
Shaun Hadley, owner of the Craig Apothecary, and Skyler Hartman, owner of the commercial grow operation Elevation Wellness Center in Oak Creek, will appear before the board to seek approval to transfer Elevation Wellness Center's optional premise cultivation license from Hartman's name to Hadley's name.
The Elevation Wellness Center license is one of four operating out of Hartman's grow operation on Arthur Avenue in Oak Creek.
Hadley, who is required to grow at least 70 percent of his product under his own license, hopes to switch his grow operation to that space by taking over the license. Hadley has owned the Craig Apothecary on Breeze Street in Craig since summer 2009.
As for action items, the board will discuss a cellphone plan for the water tank project's engineer, as well as fees for town park usage and a pay application for the waste water treatment plant.
