Oak Creek to hold public hearing on marijuana regulations
August 21, 2013
Steamboat Springs — The Oak Creek Town Board will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Thursday at town offices for two ordinances that were discussed at its last meeting.
The ordinances would apply to the licensing and zoning of retail marijuana shops.
The Town Board also will consider a resolution calling upon the U.S. Congress to ratify a constitutional amendment reversing the decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, which removed some political spending rules.
A work session for the 2014 Oak Creek budget also will be held during the meeting.
