Norwood runs away from Rams

Soroco High School football coach Dick Dudas said he hoped his Rams were getting closer to Norwood, perennially one of the top teams in 8-man football and, for three consecutive years, lopsided winners against Soroco.
The Rams did, indeed, seem closer to the Mavericks on Friday, but they still had a long way to go after falling, 51-26.
That 25-point deficit is the narrowest in the four-game series against Norwood, and the Rams’ 26 points was not only the most Soroco has scored in that span, but it's more points than the Rams scored in the three other games combined.
Soroco is now 1-1 on the season, and Norwood is 1-0.
Next up for Soroco is a 6 p.m. game Friday in Oak Creek against Sanford.
