Conservation district, weed board holding meeting
The Routt County Conservation District, in conjunction with the Routt County Weed Advisory Board, will hold its annual meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Yampa River State Park. Many changes are in store for the 2005 meeting. This year, RCCD will conduct Conservation Tours in conjunction with the traditional meeting and barbecue. The tours, which will leave the park at 1 p.m. and return at 4 p.m., will focus on water and will highlight RCCD/Natural Resources Conservation Service conservation projects in the Yampa River Basin, including the Frentress stream bank protection project and the Cary Ditch irrigation project. The cost is $10 at the door for the barbecue. RSVP to the Routt County Conservation District at 879-3225, ext. 3.
