Multiple agencies battle house fire: The Record for Friday, June 14, 2017

12:26 a.m. Officers with Steamboat Springs Police Department were dispatched to a report of a bear in the vicinity of Rollingstone Drive and Anglers Drive.

4:01 a.m. Firefighters with the West Routt Fire Protection District were dispatched to help a person having chest pain in the 400 block of W. Jackson Avenue in Hayden.

8 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of theft at a business in the 1600 block of Mid Valley Drive.



1 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.

1:03 p.m. Firefighters from Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue, North Routt Fire Protection District, West Routt Fire Protection District and Oak Creek Fire Protection District were dispatched to a house fire in the 27000 block of Whitecotton Lane. The fire was thought to have been caused by a gas grill. No injuries were reported.



1:32 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a noise complaint on Sequoia Court.

4:36 p.m. Deputies with the Routt County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residential intrusion alarm in the 40000 block of Galley Road.

4:29 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Walton Creek Road and Village Drive. Firefighters with Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue also responded to the call.

4:54 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Third Street.

5:42 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were dispatched to help an unconscious person at a business in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

6:39 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were dispatched to help a person who had suffered trauma in the 27000 block of Brandon Circle.

7:29 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of harassment on Anglers Drive.

8:26 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.

8:59 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a person in emotional distress at Olympian Hall.

9:30 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person in the vicinity of 10th and Oak streets.

9:33 p.m. Oak Creek firefighters were dispatched to investigate an illegal burn in the 23000 block of Routt County Road 14 in Oak Creek.

9:47 p.m. Oak Creek firefighters were dispatched to investigate an illegal burn on Colorado Highway 131 in Oak Creek.

9:35 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a fireworks complaint at Steamboat Springs High School.

9:46 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a drunken pedestrian in the 900 block of Oak Street.

9:55 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person at a business in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:10 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a noise complaint at Steamboat Springs High School.

11:51 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were dispatched to help a person with trauma on the Yampa River Core Trail.
