Jokes of the week
■ A woman was married four times. Her fourth husband died from eating poisonous mushrooms, so investigators asked her what her other husbands died from.
Third husband? Poisonous mushrooms.
Second husband? Poisonous mushrooms.
First husband? Broken neck.
Investigators paused. "Why did your first husband die of a broken neck?"
"Well, he wouldn't eat the poison mushrooms!"
■ A retired gentleman went to the Social Security office to apply. The woman behind the counter asked him for his driver's license to verify his age. He looked in his pockets and realized he had left his wallet at home. He told the woman that he was very sorry but he would have to go get it.
"Unbutton your shirt," she said. So he opened it up revealing curly silver hair.
The woman says "That's proof enough for me," and processed his application.
When he got home the man excitedly told his wife about the experience. She laughed and said, "You should have dropped your pants. You might have gotten disability too!"
