The Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District is requesting public comment on the proposed remodel of the Storm Peak Lab building, located on the Steamboat Ski Area in T6N, R83W, Sec. 29. The permit holder is the Board of Regents of the Nevada System of Higher Education on behalf of Desert Research Institute. The project would enclose exterior deck space on the first floor w/out a change in the footprint, and add a partial second level to replace the existing shed on the roof.
