— After missing the fall high school season with a back injury, Steamboat Springs High School junior Jamey Swiggart showed signs that he is back to 100 percent, winning the Lynmar Junior Indoor Open Championships in Colorado Springs on Monday.

Swiggart played up a level in the boys 18-and-younger division and won the singles and doubles titles.

Unseeded in singles, Swiggart beat fourth-seeded David Mitchell of Castle Rock 6-4, 6-3.

Then in doubles, Swiggart and partner Hunter LaCouture, of Franktown, beat Travis Kimsey and Jonathan Moore, 6-4, 6-2.

Swiggart's next tournament is the Intermountain Tennis Association's Sweetheart Circuit Tournament from Feb. 18 to 20 at the Country Club of Colorado.

Swiggart won the last tournament ever at Lynmar Racquet Club.
