9:25 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious man sleeping in an alley in the first block of Seventh Street. It was a transient man who said he was a veteran and had permission to sleep there. Police were called again later to check on the welfare of the man.

11:02 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 300 block of East Main Street.

3:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the 1300 block of Indian Trails. A person was called by someone claiming to be from the IRS. The caller had part of the person's Social Security number, address and date of birth.

4:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a transient man at a store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. He was gone when officers arrived.

10:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who thought they heard gunshots in the 3400 block of Sunburst Court. Police could not locate the source of the noise.
