Inflatable turkey stolen from Hayden Mercantile

— Hayden Mercantile owner Bill Hayden is staying positive about the theft of a 7-foot-tall inflatable turkey taken Sunday night from in front of his grocery store.

"It's disappointing that people would do that, but sometimes we have to laugh at ourselves," Hayden said.

Hayden said he would give a $25 reward to the person who provides information that leads to the return of the turkey. The multi-colored turkey has an attached air pump and is worth about $60.

Anyone with information about the theft can call the Hayden Police Department at 970-276-2535 or Routt County Dispatch at 970-879-1090.
