Forecast calls for return to April showers

Steamboat Springs — Weather stations around Steamboat Springs recorded some much-needed cold rain falling between midnight and 7 a.m. April 19, and the moisture continued into the Tuesday morning commute. Between .03 and .07 inches had fallen by 7 a.m., when weather data is collected for the preceeding 24 hours.
However, West Routt got the best of the April showers, with a station in Hayden and another 7 miles southwest of Steamboat reporting .15 inches of rain.
