Diane Mitsch Bush: Dear voters
November 10, 2012
To Eagle County and Routt County voters,
I am humbled and honored to be your representative-elect for the Colorado state House of Representatives District 26. You can count on me to work energetically, ethically and effectively for all of you. I started at 10 a.m. Thursday with orientation meetings at the Capitol.
You can count on me always to listen and respond to you and to all points of view, to tell you the truth, to be transparent, to examine all the evidence on any bill thoroughly and to walk my talk. I will work earnestly across the partisan divide and the Continental Divide to make a better Colorado for all of us and all our children. I will partner with business, local governments, educators, nonprofits and my fellow legislators to protect and strengthen our three key economic assets — environment, people and infrastructure — so that our communities, families and businesses can thrive.
For a just, equitable, sustainable and prosperous Colorado for all, we need a dynamic economy with jobs that pay a living wage; a clean, healthy environment; an all-of-the-above energy portfolio; robust local agriculture; adequate water supply; affordable, quality health and wellness care; quality P-20 public education; and well-maintained transportation and telecommunication infrastructure.
On Nov. 8, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work for you. Together, we can make Colorado better for all of us and all our children. Thank you for electing me to work with you and for you. You can count on me.
