12:42 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear at a gas station in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza. A clerk went outside to take out the trash and startled a bear. The bear went up on his hind legs and the clerk went inside and called police, who came and scared the bear.

3:21 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who heard a strange noise in the 2200 block of Elk River Road. Police determined everything was fine.

8:13 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone possibly trespassing at a condo in the 2000 block of Montview Lane.

10:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of spray paint at a bus stop.

10:24 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who had a stroke in the 27200 block of Whitewood Drive.

2:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance involving a man who was upset at the Department of Motor Vehicles on Anglers Drive.

9:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a shaggy brown bear in the 900 block of Pine Grove Circle.

10:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person could not be located.

11:33 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing at a retirement community in the 2800 block of Owl Hoot Trail.
