Community Connections: Boys & Girls Club meeting critical need
June 14, 2014
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Colorado is to enable and inspire the youth of Northwest Colorado to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
I always enjoy the surprise on the faces of first-time visitors to the Boys & Girls Club. Nearly every person has the same response, "I had no idea!"
Take a look inside a club, and you'll be impressed by the concentration in homework help or moved by the creations underway in the art room.
The high level of energy and sportsmanship in the gymnasium will inspire you, and the demonstrations of leadership across the age groups will prove there is hope for the future. I am sure the overall happiness, graciousness and respect that make up the club environment also will please you.
Club programs are designed to unlock the personal best of every child who passes through our doors.
We strive every day to help the young people of Northwest Colorado reach their full potential in academics, athletics, arts, leadership, healthy life styles and more.
