Colorado Tourism Conference held in Steamboat Springs

Sept. 25, 2012: US Travel Association chief to speak Oct. 11 in Steamboat
Steamboat Springs — The governor's 2012 Colorado Tourism Conference starts Wednesday in Steamboat Springs.
The first day is dominated by a culinary tourism workshop. From 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., attendees who've signed up for the workshop will have the opportunity to learn more about culinary tourism from Erik Wolf, director of the International Culinary Tourism Association, along with activities and special culinary treats.
Thursday will be filled with morning and afternoon breakout sessions and a general session about the economic impact of travel.
On Friday, Todd Lodwick will present the morning's general session, followed by more breakout sessions and the closing session at lunch. The Governor’s Awards for Outstanding Colorado Tourism Efforts will also be announced at the closing lunch.
