May 10, 2005
Spring is in full swing, and for many residents, it’s time to clear garages and yards of unwanted junk.
The Hayden Chamber of Commerce will help residents spring clean with its annual Clean Up Day from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at several sites in town.
A burning pit for wood scraps, tree limbs, yard waste and old furniture will be at Wagner Equipment, 1299 W. Jefferson Ave.
Bear River Valley Co-op, 193 E. Jefferson Avenue, will take old car and truck tires for a $2 charge.
Vehicle batteries may be dropped off at Napa Auto Parts, 815 W. Jefferson Ave., and A-1 Auto, 106. E. Jefferson Ave.
Dumpsters for trash and old appliances will be at the Hayden Mercantile, 655 E. Jefferson Ave.
