— An initial autopsy performed Sunday did not reveal an obvious cause of death for Richard Harkins, the 43-year-old Minnesota hunter found last week in North Routt County.

Routt County Coroner Rob Ryg said toxicology tests would be done to help determine how Harkins died. It can take a month or longer to get toxicology test results.

Harkins went missing Sept. 7 while camping and hunting with four friends near the bases of Meaden Peak and Sand Mountain.

After an extensive four-day search, Harkins was found near his campground.
