5:41 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with an unattended death in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.
5:58 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 900 block of Confluence Court. A man under the influence of drugs or alcohol smashed things and went into the river a couple of times. The man was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
8:12 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person sleeping in a car at Emerald Park. The person was given a warning.
9:54 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man walking around yelling in the 1800 block of Central Park Plaza. The man got on a bus.
10:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a piece of lawn furniture broken in the 700 block of Yampa Street.
11:11 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a crash in the 200 block of Anglers Drive. An 18-year-old woman driving a van towing a raft trailer made a turn too tight. The trailer went under a brand new Suburban, and the trailer tire got stuck in the Suburban’s wheel well. It took some creative work by a tow operator to separate the Suburban from the trailer.
12:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of money stolen from vending machines in the 1000 block of High Point Drive.
1:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of keys stolen from Colorado Mountain College.
3:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of moose walking around the outside of a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.
8:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an open lift shack door at Steamboat Ski Area. It was believed someone might have gone inside.
8:43 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person in emotional distress at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue.
10:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of juveniles being loud in the 1500 block of Natches Way. Parents quieted them down.
