Business briefs: Becky Sharp promoted to mortgage lender at Yampa Valley Bank

Steamboat Springs — Becky Sharp was promoted to mortgage lender at Yampa Valley Bank this month.
Sharp attended Colby College and pursued post graduate work in international studies, according to a news release, and has held multiple other positions at Yampa Valley Bank since returning to the area in 2009.
"Becky is a hometown success story having been born and raised in Steamboat," Yampa Valley Bank President PJ Wharton said in the release.

Feldmann-Nagel adds Gregory D. Thomas to Vail/Avon office
Gregory D. Thomas is joining Feldmann-Nagel's Vail/Avon office where he will practice law in the areas of business, commercial, construction, contract, corporate and real estate transactions and litigation, according to a news release.
Feldmann-Nagel started in Steamboat Springs and now has multiple offices in Colorado and in Texas, Rhode Island and California.
Thomas has a wide range of Colorado legal experience, starting in 1987, the release states. He also has experience in financial analysis and corporate trust and escrow services.
Thomas is an arbitrator with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law, received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver and has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Cincinnati.
