An opening reception for an exhibit of new works by Max Damore will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the TEI Modern Contemporary Gallery in the Torian Plum Plaza. Call 879-2240.

The Steamboat Springs Arts Council is accepting proposals from emerging and established artists for private or small group shows in 2006. Individual artists or small groups from Colorado and Wyoming are eligible. Work exhibited must have been completed since January 2004 and may not have been exhibited previously at the Depot Art Center. All mediums are eligible.

Paintings of Historic Routt County buildings by former resident Marty Alexandroff are on rotating exhibit through the summer. The paintings are part of a summer-long silent auction to raise money for Historic Routt County.
