¤ An exhibit of new work by Max Damore is on display at the TEI Modern Contemporary Gallery in the Torian Plum Plaza. Gallery hours are from 3 to 7 p.m. weekdays, and from noon to 4 p.m. on weekends. Call 879-2240.

¤ SummerArt 2005 is on display at the Eleanor Bliss Center for the Arts at the Depot, 1001 13th St. The exhibit will be on display through Aug. 26. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Call 879-9008.

¤ “Crafting the Earth: Masterpieces from the Richard Pleasant Collection of Native American Art” is on display at the Tread of Pioneers Museum, 800 Oak St. The museum is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Call 879-2214.
¤ Paintings of Historic Routt County buildings by former resident Marty Alexandroff are on rotating exhibit through the summer. The paintings are part of a summer-long silent auction to raise money for Historic Routt County. ¤ Emerald City Opera’s 2005 season signature artwork, “Encounter at Maxim,” mixed media on paper, by Rob Williams, is on display in the window of the TEI Modern Contemporary Gallery in Torian Plum Plaza. The artwork will be presented to the highest bidder at the opera’s final performance of “The Merry Widow” in August. Call 879-2240.
¤ “Musical Chairs,” the signature art pieces for the 2005 Strings in the Mountains season, are on display at the Strings Festival Tent. Silent bids for the chairs can be made at each of the banks or by calling 879-5056, ext. 102.
