Business briefs: Metzler wins CGR Top Producer

Metzler named top sales agent

Colorado Group Realty, the largest independently owned real estate firm in Steamboat Springs, announced that Nick Metzler, broker and owner, was the 2015 top sales agent among all Steamboat Springs Realtors, according to the Multiple Listing Services.

Since 2004, Metzler has consistently been in the top 1 percent of sales production and has received the Top Producer Award from Colorado Group Realty. Metzler’s 2015 total sales volume tallied more than $43 million in sales, with his entire team generating more than $50 million. This production included three sales between $4.5 million and $7 million.

“It takes a high quality team, aligned and focused with a common goal, to be successful,” Metzler said. “I feel strongly that each person on our team is of great character and specializes in areas of the selling process for our clients’ benefit. This allows us to deliver results at a more strategic level, on a highly consistent basis.”

CrossFit to celebrate renovated space

Steamboat CrossFit will soon host a grand-reopening party at its newly-renovated Riverside Plaza location to celebrate new equipment, new merchandise, more open gym time and more classes. CrossFit is also offering better membership incentives.

The grand re-opening is from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21.

Snacks and beer will be provided.

CrossFit will close for a few days beginning Feb. 16 so the renovations can be made.

Mike McCannon will be partnering with Ronni Waneka and Dana Forbes in ownership of the gym.

The current coaches and instructors are staying on.
