“We’ll have pretty significant panel of speakers,” said Routt County Republicans Chairwoman Tina Kyprios.
Colorado governor candidates Mike Kopp and Tom Tancredo will be attending, Kyprios said, and local candidates Dave Moloney and Chuck McConnell also will speak. Moloney and McConnell are facing off for the Republican nomination for House District 26, which will be the only primary race for Routt County voters.
“It’s an opportunity for all candidates to give a speech,” Kyprios said.
Colorado Republican Party Chairman Ryan Call also will be attending the event.
Tickets to the event are $35 and can be purchased at the door.
Kyprios said about 80 tickets already have been sold for the event.
“There also will be a silent auction,” she said, with a number of items from Steamboat and elsewhere.
The auction will benefit the county party.
Routt County Republicans also will awarding a $500 scholarship to Steamboat Springs High School senior Emma Schmidt. Schmidt was chosen from a pool of applicants by members of the Routt County Republicans.
