Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:31 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious car with two people inside in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza.

4:03 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in a Dumpster in the 3100 block of Columbine Drive.

6:54 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone sleeping in the stands at the rodeo grounds. No one could be located.

8:24 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft at Strawberry Park Elementary School.

11:05 a.m. Officers were called to a report of excessive trash piled outside on Cortina Lane.

12:08 p.m. A person came to the police department to report a fraud.

2:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of four people playing music on the sidewalk and asking for pizza money in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

3:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a female driver who ran a red light while putting on makeup with the visor down.

5:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of tailgating at Mount Werner Road and Routt County Road 14.

6:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who overheard a conversation where the driver said how high he was at a convenience store in the 900 block of Weiss Drive. He could not be located.

7:57 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who possibly overdosed in the 200 block of Roselawn Avenue.

10:45 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters and Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers were called to help an injured snowmobiler on Rabbit Ears Pass. Other snowmobilers were able to help the man get out, and he was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with injuries not thought to be life threatening.

11:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 400 block of Ore House Plaza. A couple of people were contacted, and everything was fine.
