Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:08 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of fireworks on Eaglepointe Court. Officers could not find who set them off.
12:31 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 1200 block of Hilltop Parkway.
12:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a parent who recovered property that was thought to have been stolen by the parent’s child. Stolen items include video games, clothing and electronics.
10:24 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who possibly had a stroke in the 300 block of South Shelton Lane.
11:23 a.m. West Routt firefighters were called to help a person with severe back pain in the 700 block of East Lincoln Avenue.
4:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was about to board a plane and forgot his wallet. He found the wallet.
6:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people in Whistler Park who were hitting golf balls toward people on the Yampa River Core Trail. The person who reported it said one of the people hitting balls wanted to start a fight when they were asked to stop.
7:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a father who was concerned about his child being at the home of the child’s mother.
7:54 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of harassment at the Thunderhead building. A employee caught someone stealing beer. The person became confrontational when confronted by the employee.
10:36 p.m. Officers issued a ticket to the driver of a vehicle parked in a handicapped spot at Colorado Mountain College.
