Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to help a person concerned about a transient in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza.

5:36 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a semi that rolled near the base of Rabbit Ears Pass on U.S. Highway 40. The driver had fallen asleep while driving and was not injured. He was given a ticket for careless driving.

9:44 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who was sick in the 27100 block of Sunset Lane.

11:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance between roommates in the 700 block of Yampa Street.

12:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a juvenile skier that collided with another juvenile skier at Steamboat Ski Area. The father of the child that was hit was concerned the skier was going to ski away so he held onto the skier’s boot until patrollers arrived.

1:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance between roommates in the 800 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The disturbance started when the roommates started having “childish stereo volume wars.”

2:07 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person in the 3800 block of Routt County Road 78.

2:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 1200 block of Hilltop Parkway. A resident thought an upstairs neighbor was purposefully jumping up and down to make noise. A citation was later issued.

2:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an abandoned car being stripped down in the 2600 block of Pine Grove Road. The owner was taking belongings out of the car before it was towed.

4:16 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.

4:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was receiving harassing texts and phone calls from a roommate.

5:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at the Gondola Transit Center. A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving with a restrained license and no proof of insurance.

7:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of $51 in gas stolen in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.

8:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 1400 block of Bob Adams Drive. It was an ongoing issue with a person receiving harassing text messages, phone calls and voicemails.

8:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found at Yampa and Seventh streets.

10:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music and 20 people in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. A warning was given.

10:39 p.m. Officers contacted a drunken man at Whistler Road and Morgan Court. The 30-year-old man was seen staggering, and he fell off a driveway into a snowbank. A pill reportedly fell out of his coat, and he was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
