Well, think there was a similar thing Monday and the way some people were not quite pulling over and wandering around in a 55 mph zone, the officer's presence was a reasonable public safety move.

Today the SB police was running a speed trap at the bottom of Fish Creek Falls Road with a motorcycle officer under a tree with the radar gun and a team of patrol vehicles at the bottom writing tickets. They must need money for the new police station.

The bottom of Fish Creek has a 35 mph for the uphill and 25 for the downhill because that during the winter it is harder to slow down for the turn and stop sign at the bottom of the hill. But, during the summer on dry pavement, a safe driver not seeing the speed limit sign would go 35 mph

I didn't get a ticket because the driver in front of me slammed the brakes. And that's the trouble, the speed trap is more likely to cause an accident than the public's normal driving habits on that road.

It is only a speed trap if you are speeding If you can not get there without breaking the speed limit leave earlier. Quit whining. You are much too intelligent for that.
