Police, fire and ambulance calls
6:03 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with back pain in the 700 block of Lillian Lane.
9:56 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of fraud in the 1700 block of Highland Way. Someone in Florida was trying to use the resident’s information to open a line of credit.
11:21 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a phone charger stolen from a hotel room in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. The guest had forgotten the charger, and it was retrieved.
11:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of trash overflowing in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.
12:14 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who possibly overdosed in the 500 block of Anglers Drive.
1:45 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to check on a person who was threatening to hurt himself.
4:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet stolen from a bar in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Someone had used a credit card that was in the wallet.
4:20 p.m. A person came to the police department and claimed their wallet had been stolen.
4:30 p.m. A found debit card was turned in at the police station.
4:39 p.m. A person came to the police department and reported having received a bad check.
6:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man walking down Walton Creek Road. He was taken to detox.
6:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 1100 block of The Boulevard who thought they received fraudulent court papers. They were not fraudulent.
10:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a trailer parked on a blind corner in the 1200 block of Buckskin Drive.
