Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a loud party in the 2700 block of Village Drive. They were asked to be quiet.

12:23 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 100 block of Missouri Avenue.

6:13 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a deer hit by a car at Mount Werner Road and South Lincoln Avenue. The deer was euthanized.

7:45 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person sleeping in a car at Colorado Mountain College. It was an employee.

11:01 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell off a horse and had back pain near mile marker 11 on Routt County Road 33.

12:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had questions about an ongoing neighbor dispute in the 2500 block of Copper Ridge Drive.

1:02 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help someone who possibly had a stroke in the 1700 block of Central Park Plaza.

1:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of transients sleeping near the Yampa River near Riverside Drive. They were gone when officers arrived.

1:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 800 block of Fox Lane who received a fraudulent phone call from someone offering to pave their driveway.

3:27 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a wildfire in the Routt National Forest. The U.S. Forest Service already had firefighters hiking toward the fire.

3:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an 11-year-old boy missing from a restaurant in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The boy had walked home.

4:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of driver who yelled obscenities at a pedestrian crossing the street at Village Drive and Après Ski Way.

4:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle blocking a crosswalk at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

4:57 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a crash at Downhill Plaza and Elk River Road. One person was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

5:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 2600 block of Ridge Road who received a fraudulent phone call from a person claiming to be from the Internal Revenue Service, who threatened to arrest the person if they did not send money.

5:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of items taken from a front yard in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

6:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who was threatening suicide.

6:33 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help an unconscious person in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

6:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of shoplifting from a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A man reportedly stole burritos, chicken and fish and then fled from the security guard. The 29-year-old suspect was found during a traffic stop and arrested on suspicion of theft and possession of a controlled substance. Police said he had heroin.

7:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud party with 20 to 30 people in the 1500 block of Mark Twain Court. They were asked to be quiet.

8:22 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a crash in Milner.

8:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people camping under an awning and panhandling in the 300 block of Anglers Drive. The people refused to leave, and police escorted them off the property.

8:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people playing loud polka music in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

9:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud party in the 1500 block of Moraine Lane. A warning was given.

9:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that ripped open a storm door in the 1700 block of Brome Drive. The resident sprayed the bear with pepper spray, and the bear left.

11:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of three people snooping around and pulling on door handles in the 200 block of Mountain Village Circle. The people were contacted, and they lived in the complex.

11:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud party in the 3300 block of Covey Circle. A warning was given.
