Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of someone huffing from an aerosol can in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The person ran away after coming to and could not be located by police.

12:20 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in a dumpster on Whistler Road.

12:24 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a white truck swerving on its way into Steamboat on U.S. Highway 40. The driver was contacted and given a warning.

1:11 a.m. A found purse was turned in at the police station.

1:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the first block of Anglers Drive.

7:30 a.m. Officers were called to deal with an ongoing issue where tenants were not securing trash in the 3100 block of Columbine Drive.

8:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person loitering at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue. The person was told to move along.

9:50 a.m. Officers were called to a report of marijuana plants in the 2400 block of Val d’Isere Circle. Nothing illegal was occurring.

11:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person receiving unwanted phone calls in the 500 block of Cheyenne Court.

11:39 a.m. Officers were called to a report of trespassing in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. The person was told to leave the area.

12:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a ski helmet and goggles stolen in the 1300 block of Blue Sage Drive. They were located.

2:08 p.m. A found wallet was turned in at the police station.

2:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a panhandler in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A warning was given.

3:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a mountain bike found in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

3:37 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having an allergic reaction at a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.

3:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who lost a $500 bracelet on Lincoln Avenue somewhere between Seventh and Ninth streets.

4:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a pickup that was swerving at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. It could not be found.

5 p.m. Officers were called to a report of panhandlers in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. They were given a warning and left the area.

5:20 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 2600 block of Abbey Road.

5:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dumpster that was not being secured and was vulnerable to bear attacks on Old Fish Creek Falls Road.

8:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a skateboard stolen from the first block of Eighth Street.

8:27 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a five-gallon propane tank on fire in the 1100 block of Hilltop Parkway.

10:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that was getting into trash. It was scared away.

10:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a motorcycle stolen in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza. The $1,800 motorcycle was stolen while the owner was at work.

10:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud party on Redwood Court. They were told to quiet down.
