Police, fire and ambulance calls

3:06 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken man in his 20s stumbling around at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. He made it back to his motel.

6:18 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious man walking down the middle of the road at Lincoln Avenue and 13th Street.

7:26 a.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a sick person in the first block of Lincoln Street.

11:58 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 500 block of Rollingstone Drive.

12:54 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a woman with chest pain in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

12:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a scam involving people who were falsely representing themselves as bill collectors for Yampa Valley Electric Association, and they were trying to collect money from customers.

12:52 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a man on the Yampa River Core Trail near Trafalgar Drive. The man had waved down a driver, started cussing and walked away. Officers later contacted him.

2:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a pickup with two different license plates at Eighth and Oak streets.

3:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue. There were several other noninjury crashes in the afternoon.

4:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious man sitting in a snowbank and Aprés Ski Way and Mount Werner Circle. He could not be located.

4:58 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having an allergic reaction in the 300 block of Santa Fe Street.

5:51 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers were called to rescue a person on Buffalo Pass. The search was canceled after the person walked out on their own.

6:50 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 500 block of Rollingstone Drive.

9:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who got a suspicious phone call from an unknown person. The person made a comment about the man’s girlfriend.
