"Cookie Lockhart is a jewel of Steamboat Springs. It was with great pride I watched American Pickers last night. Cookie and her family (the Lockharts) are icons of Routt County and Steamboat." — Anita Green Paquette

Pretty funny how they went on I70 to get from Cookie's to Donnie Woodsmith's less than a mile away.

Can't say that I heard the words Steamboat Springs once. Heard they were in Colorado at least a half dozen times but not where in CO.

Other thought is that Mainstreet needs to arrange a showing of Donnie Woodsmith's art on Lincoln Ave in one of the city owned buildings or in the commercial spaces in the Chief Theater. Not necessarily to sell any of it, but as something of interest to tourists that brings them to downtown.

His stuff is seriously cool and unique.
